Helping children understand their feelings through stories and creativity.
The Voices of Tomorrow Project is the flagship child-focused initiative under the Read to Rewire program.
It is a creative literacy and emotional education project that introduces children and teenagers to emotional awareness through books, storytelling, art, and playful learning.
Many children struggle to understand or express their emotions simply because they have never been given the words or tools to do so.
Voices of Tomorrow helps bridge that gap.
Through interactive classroom experiences, children learn how to recognize their emotions, express themselves safely, and understand that their feelings matter.
How the Program Works
The Voices of Tomorrow program works directly with schools and educators through engaging classroom activities and structured learning tools.
These include:
- Classroom Story Circles
Students listen to stories and explore the emotions experienced by characters, helping them understand feelings in a relatable way. - Creative Reading Activities
Books and storytelling sessions designed to encourage curiosity, imagination, and reflection. - Emotional Vocabulary Building
Children learn simple and practical words to describe their emotions and communicate their feelings more clearly.
- Teacher Sensitization
Teachers receive guidance and tools to better understand children’s emotional behaviour and respond with empathy. - Neuroscience for Children
Simple, child-friendly explanations about how emotions work in the brain. - Early Behavioural Observation
Teachers are equipped with tools to observe emotional and behavioural patterns in students over time. - School Support and Follow-Up
Ongoing monitoring and engagement to ensure the program creates meaningful impact in classrooms.
